Doug Tolbert

Doug Tolbert is a Consulting Engineer with Unisys where he has focused on database management systems, operating systems and applications development technologies. Doug has been involved in the development of leading edge transactional and data warehouse database technologies and active in the database and repository technical communities for more than 28 years. Doug has been a principle member of the team defining the Common Warehouse Metamodel (CWM) and UML 2.0 standards under the auspicious of the Object Management Group (OMG). Currently, he works toward enabling open source database management systems for enterprise-scale applications. Doug holds a PhD degree from the University of California, Davis, and is an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at University of California, Riverside.
