Dan has been involved with Open Source since 1998 when he was given a copy of FreeBSD 2.2.something to use as his firewall.

Since then, he has demonstrated an ability to find projects to overfill his spare time. Some of his work over the past 10 years includes:

While he hopes to not repeat his record of living in three different cities in eight months, he prefers to be steadily employed and to live in an area with abundant mountain biking. And a movie theatre.

Dan always finds good people to be around no matter where he lives.
