Deploying PostgreSQL in a Windows Enterprise
Integrating with Windows and Active Directory
Many larger networks are based around Windows and Active Directory. This talk will show how PostgreSQL can integrate and work with such existing environments.
This talk will outline some of the challenges to overcome when installing PostgreSQL in a Windows enterprise environment. Examples include mass-deployment, Active Directory integration for authentication and authorization and data exchange with existing systems. Both deploying the Windows version of the PostgreSQL server and integrating a Linux/Unix PostgreSQL in existing Windows-based infrastructures will be covered.
