Hitoshi Harada

Hitoshi Harada has been interested in the analytical aspect of PostgreSQL and has been developing analytical search web application based on PostgreSQL as well as open source/proprietary database extension modulesi like simple kmeans. He implemented the basic feature of window functions in PostgreSQL 8.4 and extended it in 9.0.

He is now a distributed database kernel engineer based in Bay Area, developing the cutting-edge features around analytics of the commercial RDBMS. He also anticipates the furture of open source softwares and spend some time outside office doing code reviews or developing external projects.

He lives in Bay Area near his office with his family. Sometimes he attends one of SFPUG events.
