KaiGai Kohei
KaiGai Kohei has been primary developer of SE-PostgreSQL, and recently launched another PG-Strom project also. Now, he is working for SAP Global Competence Center of NEC Europe in Germany.
He has about ten years experiences in development of OSS/Linux, and usually contributed to both of SELinux and PostgreSQL project. He launched SE-PostgreSQL project at 2006, then it has been revised and upstreamed in the v9.1 release partially. Not only security features, he is also interested in parallel query execution; that created PG-Strom extension that run queries using GPU devices. In the v9.3 development cycle, he mainly worked for Row-Security and Writable FDW features; both can become basis of SE-PostgreSQL and PG-Strom.
