Thomas Munro
Thomas Munro recently joined the Database Server team at EnterpriseDB where he works on Postgres Plus Advanced Server and PostgreSQL.
Thomas is a software designer and programmer who has worked on database-centric applications in the finance and software industries over the past two decades. Taking his first steps as an open source developer, he has made some small contributions to PostgreSQL, notably (for the subject of his proposed talk) SKIP LOCKED. His current interests include programming languages, consistency models, transaction isolation, FreeBSD and figuring out how to make PostgreSQL even better.
