Thomas Munro
Thomas Munro is a member of the Database Server team at EnterpriseDB where he works on Postgres Plus Advanced Server and PostgreSQL.
Thomas is a software designer and programmer who has worked on database-centric applications in the finance and software industries over the past two decades. Taking his first steps as an open source software developer, he has made several contributions to PostgreSQL including SKIP LOCKED, remote_apply and parts of the new DSA shared memory allocator. Recently he has been working on a proposal to increase hash join parallelism. His current interests include parallelism, distributed consistency, transaction isolation, trying to understand planners, FreeBSD and generally figuring out how to make PostgreSQL better.
