	JIT-Compiling SQL Queries in PostgreSQL Using LLVM

Dmitry Melnik

Dmitry works in Compiler Technology department at ISP RAS (Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences, www.ispras.ru/en).

Since 2005 Dmitry has been involved in open-source development, working on compiler optimizations and performance tuning for GCC, LLVM, WebKit, V8. He has also presented at compiler conferences (mainly on GCC-related stuff). Currently Dmitry works on project for implementing JIT compilation for SQL queries using LLVM. Dmitry has presented early results at PGConf.Ru in 2016, and now he will be excited to share the new developments for this work with PostgreSQL community.
