I have been hacking on Greenplum database since 2012. Greenplum is a PostgreSQL fork that shards data into multiple PostgreSQL instances to execute queries in parallel. Isolating concurrently running transactions that update data stored in multiple PostgreSQL instances and achieving that without sacrificing throughput, are some of the challenges that I love to tackle. I have learned a lot and continuing to do so from PostgreSQL code as well as the wonderful community of users and developers around it.
Pune, India is where my home is.
