David Wheeler is a long-time PostgreSQL contributor, and creator of Sqitch, a database change management system; PGXN, the PostgreSQL Extension Network; pgTAP, a database test framework, and CITEXT2, the case-insensitive data type. After stints with PostgreSQL Experts and iovation, he now works for The New York Times as a Staff Engineer designing and building a centralized, privacy-first identity management system. He lives in New York City with his artist wife, actor daughter, and lovable cat.
